TalkEdit is a 100% offline video editor. We have no accounts, no servers, no telemetry, and no cloud storage. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information from the desktop app.
Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled at the edge to measure anonymous, aggregated traffic patterns (page views, referrers, browser types). It does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not fingerprint visitors. It is GDPR-compliant and privacy-first by design. We cannot identify individual visitors from this data.
If you subscribe to our newsletter via the form on the homepage, your email address is stored in Resend (our email provider) and used solely to send you product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email. We do not share your email with third parties.
This website does not use cookies.
When you purchase a license via the Buy links on this site, you are redirected to Stripe, a third-party payment processor. Stripe collects your name, email, and payment information to process the transaction. We never receive or store your full payment details. Stripe's privacy policy governs how they handle your data.
By default, all AI features (transcription, filler removal, clip suggestions) run locally on your machine. TalkEdit also offers the option to use cloud AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude) if you choose to configure an API key. When enabled, the relevant text or audio data is sent to that provider for processing. This is entirely optional and opt-in. Review their privacy policies at OpenAI and Anthropic.
Installer files are hosted on Cloudflare R2. Cloudflare may log standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamp) per their privacy policy. We do not have access to these logs.
